ATTORNEY DOCUMENT REVIEW SERVICES

With affordability in mind, the Atherley Law Firm offers a flat-rate document review service for specific immigration applications where full service representation is not needed. Many people file their own immigration applications because the cost of hiring an attorney is too high, or they simply do not need full service representation. Utilizing this service may result in the savings of hundreds or even thousands of dollars in attorney fees. To find out whether this is the right service for your unique immigration needs, start with scheduling a free initial telephone consultation.

Following the initial telephone consultation, if you feel you need more immigration guidance, after completing your immigration document, we offer our flat-rate attorney document review service. Unlike immigration consultants that simply fill out paperwork and cannot provide any legal advice, an immigration attorney at the Atherley Law Firm will review your self-completed immigration documents, provide a detailed analysis, outline any potential issues, answer legal questions, and provide a follow up meeting and final review of your documents.

Atherley law firm provides you with 3 levels of scheduled contact directly with an immigration attorney when using our document review services:

  • TELEPHONE CONSULTATION
  • IN-DEPTH IN PERSON CASE EVALUATION:
    • DETAILED REVIEW, ANALYSIS, & FEEDBACK BY ATTORNEY
    • QUESTION & ANSWER SESSION
  • FOLLOW UP MEETING & FINAL REVIEW

INTERVIEW PREPARATION

It is important to remember that no two immigration interviews are the same. The immigration interview process is necessary to obtain your permanent resident status, citizenship, or non-immigrant visa. Going into an USCIS interview unprepared can have extremely negative consequences. The Atherley Law Firm can help you, or a family member prepare for an upcoming immigration interview. We will review your case and documents, organize your documents for the USCIS officer’s review, discuss any potential issues you may face, and prepare you for what to expect on your interview including the types of questions usually asked, to ensure you are not caught off guard at your interview.

INTERVIEW ATTENDANCE

Although not required, some clients feel more comfortable if an attorney attends their scheduled interview with them. The role of the attorney at an interview is to ensure that the rights of the represented client are protected. The Atherley Law Firm can provide an immigration attorney to attend your immigration interview with you so that you can take comfort in knowing that your rights are protected. In some interviews, you many not know the best way to handle specific questions asked by the USCIS Officer. However, if an attorney attends the interview with you, the attorney may raise an objection, or intercede on an inappropriate line of questioning which can ultimately help avoid possible delays, unnecessary investigations, and denials. Having an attorney present in your immigration interview does not guarantee success, but can definitely improve your chances of success.
